DEKALB COUNTY NEWS
DeKalb Offers Free Bulky Item Curbside Collection
DECATUR, Ga. – The DeKalb County Sanitation Division will offer free residential bulky item curbside collection every Friday and Saturday from November 30, 2018, through December 22, 2018, as part of the Operation Holiday Clean Sweep 2018 campaign.
Lucious Sanders Recreation Center to Host Coat Drive
Deadline Extended
DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs is accepting new or gently used coats for its first coat drivenow until Friday, Dec. 21.
Citizens are encouraged to drop off coat donations at one of our recreational facilities during normal operating hours.
Help District 5 update our HOA Contacts
District 5 of DeKalb County is currently updating the contact information for the Homeowner Associations in our district.
Please send us your
community name, HOA President name, and the HOA Presidents contact information (email and phone number).

Got an Ugly Sweater?
Get a Free Adoption!
Dust off your ugliest holiday sweater, because you finally have a great reason to wear it! LifeLine Animal Project wants to see all of our shelter pets go home for the holidays, so we are offering free adoptions to anyone who comes into any of our shelters wearing an ugly holiday sweater! The free adoption includes a spay/neuter , vaccination, and a microchip which is a $300 value.
The Ugly Sweater promotion is valid at all of LifeLine’s shelters including until December 31st:

Internship Opportunity
