On behalf of the citizens of the 5th Commission District, thank you for your service. As we approach the 2023 legislative session for the Georgia General Assembly, I believe it is incumbent for the resident of the 5th district to learn about the upcoming legislative priorities. To that end, I am hosting the District 5 Legislative Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, January 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. The meeting will take place at the Lou Walker Senior Center, 2538 Panola Road, Stonecrest, Georgia 30038.
The purpose of the town hall meeting is for constituents to hear from their representatives on legislation which you intend to work on this session and an opportunity to for you to share initiatives. I would be honored to have you join our town hall meeting as a panelist to provide your outlook on the upcoming session and share any legislative priorities which you may desire. We have also invited other members of the DeKalb Delegation who also represent portions of the 5th Commission District to join the meeting.
Upon confirmation, if you have any information, which you would like to be shared on the screen as you present, you may email the information to our office, so that we may include your material in the PowerPoint presentation for the meeting.
