For the 33rd year, metro Atlanta’s older residents have a chance to show off their athleticism and win medals at the DeKalb County Senior Olympic Games next month.
From May 1 to 10, the county will put on several different events at venues across the county for people ages 50 and older. The sports include free-throw basketball, bowling, track and field, billiards, swimming, table tennis, line dancing, water volleyball and more.
The kickoff for the games will be on Wednesday, May at 10 a.m.
Commissioner Johnson has been a long time resident of South DeKalb County for over 30+ years. During that time, she has built and cultivated relationships that have gained her the respect of the community both personally and professionally.
