2026 DeKalb County Juneteenth Festival Unites the Community in Celebration

The 2026 DeKalb County Juneteenth Festival brought our community together for an unforgettable evening celebrating freedom, culture, and unity. Hosted by DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson in partnership with Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners, this year’s festival embraced the theme, “Embracing Unity as We Celebrate,” and welcomed thousands of residents to Rainbow Park Amphitheater for an evening of live entertainment, fellowship, and reflection.

The celebration featured performances by Morris Day and The Time, Klymaxx, Norris G., and spoken word artist Eric Hubbard, bringing generations together to honor the significance of Juneteenth and celebrate the rich history, resilience, and culture of the African American community.

The festival also showcased community engagement through local organizations, vendors, and family-friendly activities, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration for residents of all ages.

Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, county staff, public safety personnel, vendors, performers, and everyone who attended and helped make the 2026 DeKalb County Juneteenth Festival a memorable success. We look forward to continuing this tradition as we celebrate our shared history and build a stronger community together.
