Commission Meeting Comments

Board of Commissioner Comments (07.14.2020)

Thank You, Mr. Presiding Officer, and Good morning again everyone.

I would like to begin my comments by thanking Hidden Hills HOA President, Roderick Frierson for inviting me to participate in the Hidden Hills HOA Meeting on last Tuesday. We discussed very important issues concerning elections and the importance of voting in the upcoming elections.

I also had an opportunity to join the DeKalb NAACP and the DeKalb Alphas for a March for Justice a few Saturday’s ago. Everyone wore their mask and it was a remarkable event to be apart of seeing so many stand up and say loud and proud, Black Lives Matter.

I am so proud and full this morning as the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners has worked collaboratively to pass meaningful legislation today.

I want to say to the Public and my colleagues that during these uncertain and unprecedented times, though we sometimes have our differences and we express those differences, we must work together for the betterment of this county and its citizens. I want to thank all my colleagues to know that I consider it an honor to serve with you.

To the citizens of the 5th, it is always my honor to represent you each and everyday as we work for forward progress in DeKalb.

I want to invite everyone to join me and get your absentee ballot and vote by mail for the August 11th

I invite you to follow me on social media:
