Background:

  • Existing Fire Station No. 5 at 4013 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, Ga was opened in 1955.
  • Funding will come from SPLOST 1 funds in the amount of $8.2 million
  • This will be the second of five new fire stations to be built countywide with SPLOST 1 funding.
  • The two-story 15,576 square foot structure is estimated to be completed in 2026.
