Drew Valley Water Line Replacement Project Continues Through Fall

Construction to install new diameter water line system

Efforts to improve water service capacity throughout DeKalb County continue through December 2023, with the Drew Valley Water Line Replacement Project. Crews will replace 15,000 linear feet of aging water lines with new 8-inch-diameter ductile-iron water lines along Drew Valley Road.

This line repair project is expected to last approximately seven months (May to December 2023), barring any weather delays.

Normal construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
