District 5 Family, Friends, and Neighbors:

I want to personally invite you to join me for our District 5 Family Day (Drive – Thru Edition) tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We will be distributing Free Food Boxes, Free Masks and Hand Sanitizer, and providing Free COVID – 19 testing. Please remember that the deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 5th. If you need to register to vote or know someone who needs to register, please direct them to click here. After you register, be sure to fill out your Census if you have not already done so by clicking here .

Finally, we have included resources in this weeks newsletter for anyone who may be in need of food, rental/mortgage, or utility assistance. Please share these resources with those who may be in need of these services.

Last week we broke ground on the all new East DeKalb Community and Senior Center at Bruce Street. Our Seniors have long awaited this day and they are so deserving of this moment. #LongLiveBruceSt!!!

If you or someone you has lost a loved one to COVID – 19, please share their name, photo, birth & death date so that we may honor their life and memory. Please submit the information by Friday, September 18th to [email protected]
